Good Eatin'

s320x240.jpeg Such a cool photo from a cool weblog: Mystical Forest. It makes me happy that we're not printing on glossy paper, which always casts harsh reflections when you're trying to read. It just makes me happy in general. Two of my favorite things: red-and-yellow food and our magazine. The Stephenville story.

I have been packing for our semi-annual trek East and I am exhausted. Thousands and thousands of magazines in boxes and bundles, and I moved most of them today. I didn't move them far, but you try lifting the fiftieth box of a hundred issues when you're not fifty any more, and you will know how I feel right now.

I'd write more, but it actually hurts to type!

You mean there are no UFO Magazine flunkies to lift boxes? What happened to the zillions of dollars UFO Mag has made? We can't afford flunkies?

This is for Nancy Birnes or anyone who knows the answer to my question~~~

Hi, I'm Laura, how are you and all the kind people on this post as well as other posts under the UFO magazine banner. I was reading Nancy's post about packing up and going on a semi-annual track to the East. Well, I got a little excited there for awhile. Will the team be going over to the New York or the Tri-State area side? And does anyone know the answer to my second question, and that is,has the TV program "UFO Hunters" been picked up for a second season?

Anyone, please?

Regards,

Laura Burne

UFO Hunters has been renewed for a second season of thirteen episodes, and it is likely the team will be doing oner or more segments in the NY tri-state area.

Dear Dr. Birnes,

Thank you so much for expeditiously replying my post, Dr. Birnes. Kudos to you and the rest of the team on a SECOND season. And I am just beside myself on being informed that there will one or two segments on the NY tri-state area with regards to the second season's episodes.

And you will always have the unrelenting support of everyone(including myself)here in the tri-state area and also not forgetting, the rest of the North East area.

And finally, (I'm afraid I'm showing my age here), Rock On UFO Hunters !

Regards,
Laura Burne

P.S. Hope you're feeling better now, Mrs. Birnes, what with all that moving of boxes and all.I wished I could have helped....

Hope you are feeling better. I sure can relate to that "not fifty anymore" comment. Great photo.

Hi Mrs. Birnes,

I'm relatively new to this site and to the publication. Long story short,I found out about the magazine through the UFO Hunters show and I feel so honored in being able to participate freely in the myriad of discussions/blogs.So many blogs, so little time.

On the subject of age, being 27 years old, I am in complete awe of everyone here who's had so much experience in the field. I've been researching the subject since I was 20 and I'm not even anywhere near the level of experience that many of the kind folks on these blogs are.But I'm willing to learn,to open my eyes and to listen.

On the subject of age, here are some quotations I'd like to share:

"It is a mistake to regard age as a downhill grade toward dissolution. The reverse is true. As one grows older, one climbs with surprising strides."
~ George Sand

And something to tickle your funny bone (probably my favorite):

"You know you're getting old when you stoop to tie your shoelaces and wonder what else you could do while you're down there."
~ George Burns

And last but not least, the following:

"Always be nice to those younger than you, because they are the ones who will be writing about you."

~ Cyril Connolly

Take real good care of yourself, Mrs. Birnes!

Hey Nancy, remember what I told you, start counting backwards on your next birthday. You'll be a teenager again before you know it.

Congratulations Bill on the renewal of your show. Can't wait until the new season. According to the History Channel site, UFO Hunters is the 5th most watched show...way to go!
