Oh sure, I know that isn't the real purpose of this blog, but I wanted to wish everyone a great weekend!

BTW, Larry King will be doing a UFO show tonight -- Are UFO's Real?  The guest list is not posted yet, but it probably will be later today. 

Bill has written quite a bit about zealots, but that doesn’t stop me from chiming in.  

The zealot group I find most annoying is the one that thinks they are protecting you from zealots, never realizing that they are also zealots.

I am sure that most of us are smart enough to realize there are a few scammers, fakes and liars within ufology.    

Most of us are also smart enough to know exactly who they are.  We don’t make a big deal about it because it is pretty obvious to all except those that want to believe in such crap.  Since we are smart, we know that those who want to believe in that crap are lost to it and nothing we could say is likely to change their minds.

The zealots on the other hand, they have to get up on their pedestal and preach to everyone.  The fact that the only ones that are somewhat listening are the ones smart enough to already know doesn’t seem to bother them.   The ones smart enough to know quickly find them annoying.  The ones they are hoping to attract never even listen and if they do rarely care what they have to say.  In other words, I haven’t seen any believer in any of the people they preach against actually change their mind due to the preaching.

    It is a big primary day, which has me thinking about the election.
    Oh, I know some people believe either Hillary or Obama will disclose UFOs if they are elected, but I just don’t see it happening.  I would like to have the faith in any candidate to think that they would do the right thing and disclose UFOs if just for the sheer reason that we desperately need to get off fossil fuels, but I don’t believe any of them will.  
    Even those who might have the best intentions to find out the truth and disclose it will be easily convinced that there are National Security reasons for why that can’t be done.  
    Still, I do think it is rather nice that there are still people who believe in their government in that way and think that someone who has got so far as becoming President won’t bow down to the Military Industrial Complex.  I wish I could believe that the next President won’t just be a puppet for those in control, but I don’t.
