The Army Nurse at Roswell
Hi, guys! We're one of your MySpace friends.
So, we were wondering about the Army nurse who is mentioned as having been with or seen the alleged alien bodies at Roswell AAF, N.M., after the reported crash of the UFO there in 1947.
Several programs I've watched have mentioned her, and even named her, but there's never been any indication that anyone tried to find her. They named her as NAOMI MARIA SELF.
Our preliminary research finds that most Americans with that last name live in or are from Alabama. And, in searching some Army and Air Force records, we did find a NAOMI MARIA SELF, who was in the Army or Army Air Force as of 1939 (and probably still was in 1947) who is apparently now age 105 and lives in Alabama -- somewhere.
We're trying to track her down because, if she's 105 and she's the actual nurse, somebody needs to get to her and talk to her really quick.
We find it incredulous that no one has apparently ever tried to locate this nurse. The TV shows just say that she was immediately transferred out and "disappeared." One show even suggested that there were no military records on this person, but that's apparently not the case.
Do you guys know anything about this? Do you want to help? My staff is limited and so is my time, but we're doing what we can.
