UFO Sighting in Colorado
Hi Folks,
Just wanted to share a UFO sighting with pictures.
San Luis Valley Colorado 5 miles south of San Luis Colorado September 18, 2008
We were installing a 10-5 foot totem pole carving of Mother Mary. At about 11:00 amI saw a UFO to the north, sitting about a 1/2 mile off the ground, and about a 1/2 mile away. It was oval and silver the sun was shinning off of it. I look for about 10 seconds and then look down to put down the hose with running water. When I looked back it was gone. No where in site. I commented to the other 6 people there I had just seen a UFO.
The day before I was thinking about the Crop Circle Makers in England and sent out a thought they were welcome to come watch us put up the Statue, never thinking they would show up.
Two days later I was putting the following picture into Photoshop and happened to notice a dot I hadn't seen before. When I enlarged the picture this is what I found. This is the same object I saw earlier. This picture was taken later after the installation, my guess is around 1 or 2 pm.
Here's the original picture. The UFO is on your right of the statue about 1 inch off the horizon.

sorry man but thats clearly a hot air balloon keep your eyes to the sly

I might have thought the same thing had I not seen another one just like it earlier in the day with my own eyes. It disappeared in a matter of seconds. I don't believe hot air balloons disappear. And there is ZERO hot air balloon activity in the area. :o)
I saw something very similar in New york - Melville Monday night at around 6:50 pm. I let my dog out and i was standing in the yard looked up and saw a huge round disc like craft hovering over the trees about 5-7 blocks away and decending - then it disapeared... about ten minutes later got in my car to go to the mall when i saw about 5 little blinking lights just stayibng put not moving . I dont know what i saw but i was very scared!!! Just wanted to share it with someone .
That was a commenter that said it was a hot air balloon. I disagree. I live in Albuquerque, home of balloon fiesta and I have never seen or photographed a hot air balloon that looks like that. As you can see in the photo if it were a hot air balloon the portion that would have to be the basket is way too wide. It could possibly be a blimp, but it doesn't really look like that either.
Just wanted to mention that this year in the San Luis Valley the majority of the sightings that been reported or seen from the UFO Tower have been daytime and very similar to what you have captured in your picture, round and silver.
I have also seen and photographed many round silver things here -- just east of Albuquerque. They seem to especially show up when there are chemtrails. In fact, if you do a chemtrail/orb google you will find tons of photos and video of similar objects.
